Got a telephone call this evening from this number. Telemarketing This is a spam call trying to sell business coaching. I asked how they received my number and they claim it was given to them from LinkedIn. My number is not on LinkedIn. When asked to be removed they hung up the call.
This number called this morning so called from BT Openreach advising my broadband is reported to being slow. Scam, bogus caller. Caller was of ethnic origin.

A guy called James was the caller and said he was calling on behalf of my bank as I had apparently been in contact with them, which I haven t and he had my name also. It sounded like he was giggling and chuckling whilst he was reading out his spiel so I hung up. Will be keeping an eye out for this number calling again so I won t pick up.

I just received a call from this number by a male person of oriental descent alluding to be from the US Federal Government, some grant department in Washington DC. He notified me of my name being selected from a list of persons with no criminal record, no bankruptcy in the last 6 months and history of making payments ontime. I was told that a grant in the amount of US$9200.00 was mine if I go to a Western Union office and put US$250.00 in some kind of holding account with my personal ID number.
