Have had about 3 calls from this number in the past week - today I answered. It was about a motor accident (as usual) - and when I said I said I hadn t had one, the caller said it could have been another type of motor accident. I said it wasn t for me, and asked twice to be taken off their list. Was told that they would "update their records".
I Reported this number to talktalk. , they are scammers. And got abusive when I told them police were involved.
Number has 12 digits, too many to be valid in the UK.

Claimed to be a Michael from BT Telecom informing me that there was an issue with my router. I was suspicious of this caller as I had experienced no problems with by broadband or router. I terminated this call.
Said they were from Carphone Warehouse. I've never had any dealings with them before so there's no reason they would have my number.

They called me several times. The first time I picked it up there was noone speaking and after 5 second they hung up. The second time I just heard an automated message saying the office was already closed and geve time options to call back. this was strange from the beginning. I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.
