This is a scam - they claim to be HMRC (although he pronounced it HRMC!) and are asking for student tax to be paid. I told them that I am 16 and not working and therefore not eligible for tax. He - an Indian sub continent accented person - insisted I have to pay it until I informed him that I actually work for HMRC and this is a scam. He admitted it was and rang off. NOTE: I don't work for HMRC and I am not 16. BEWARE!!!!

Block this number,the they will keep calling on no caller ID, then to stop that,block all calls on your phone except the ones from your contacts.

block it as it has nothing to do with your supplier

SCAM Called at 9am, with an atomic message saying “thank you for placing a order with Amazon, your new iPhone 7 will be getting dispatch” Just ended the call there

Asked if he could speek to ### I said yes he said is that ##### I again said yes then he put the phone down on me!

Asked them to stop calling and delete my details as i do every time they call, as always they got agressive and after i told them i was reporting them AGAIN for breach of data protection laws they hung up.

"BT" said been trying to phone me (Not been out in days so didnt miss any calls), "Suspicious Activity" on my line, will disconnect my internet unless I speak to operative, following 15 minutes conversation, verbal abuse towards my 80 year old father for his lack of internet knowledge, and not having a online bank account, implied would do unpleasant things to him.

Seems to be used for some really wide-scope telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1183282xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with very sophisticated robocalls, sometimes classical RTA - ''you have been in a car accident'', sometimes Microsoft support - general computer support, in most cases unsolicited. Asian lady, who I couldn't understand, claiming to be from the government department claims advisory group. Apparently they had a cheque to send me for overpaid bank charges. Told her to send it to me, but she wanted my DOB. When challenged that surely they knew this as they had my name and number and address etc, then they must already have my DOB, she said it was for verification, at which point I thanked her for the call (it included a few expletives) and hung up. Do not engage with them.
