Automated call from bt regarding internet banking compromised. Advised To press 1. I put the phone down as not with bt.
SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. He same recorded American Male voice started talking, saying he was someone calling from HMRC to discuss a case with me, and to call him back before "the lawsuit" against me went to "local county court". I have no knowledge of any case against me - the American terms & r

Lady called Victoria called trying to get me to pay £150 for 3yrs satellite cover. Haven t got satellite dish. Didn t know that I was a virgin customer and when I said I d contact virgin and ask them she ended the call. Dodgy company - should be sent to the darkest corner of hell!!

I was rung up on 30.8.21 by a female Indian (?) voice claiming to be a representative of BT. There was a large amount of background noise, indicating, presumably, that this female was ringing from some sort of call centre. As I do not have a BT phone I rang off before she could get into her stride about rates. My hope is that she and her colleagues will slip in a pile of dog poo and break their ruddy necks.

SCAM Indian accent claimed to be calling from BT Openreach because they had detected a decrease in my internet connection speed. They wanted me to perform a speed test - I asked them to call back in two days because I was very busy. Their number is registered on this site as BT.
