Call at 8.38 am from someone with Indian sounding accent re my computer "Running slowly" If this is an Edinburgh based number why can t B.T. simply block it ?

Got a call from this number, the person added me on skype asking to place an ad on gumtree for them. Very pushy and harassing, went through with it as far as I could just for fun. they will find any email address to send all financial problems to , they have sent very sensitive stuff to a member of staffs email . Do not trust them with anything

Cold calling for payment protection insurance claims

Unsolicited calls. Very persistant. Continually calling even when their "services" are politely declined.Certainly doesn t instill any confidence in their ability to do anything as they clearly can t LISTEN to a flat no thank you!! Ive blocked these calls many times but they still keep getting through.

Asian male, claiming to be from claims direct, calling about a car accident about a year and a half ago. Could not give any details of vehicles allegedly involved or dates.

I had the same experience as Dani. I d cut them off as they couldn t give me any details of our BT account when they said that our internet was about to be cut off. I phoned BT and they confirmed that our internet service was ok and the call was probably a scam. I have now blocked this number

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy peo

Indian voice said from Microsoft. Told him to get lost. He said that because I was uncooperative he was going to block my computer, he was full of threats. That got me really going and I told him to get on and block it (there is NO way he could). After me making more comments to him he rang off. I think this is probably a Nigerian scammer who has been able to tack himself onto an English telephone number.

I have not had an accident, hence I called them scammers and I hung up, the indian lady called me back and said I should not call them scammers and she could sue me for it because she is from a law firm and hung up on me, what a joke... shaking in my boots, NOT.

MISSED CALL: I didn't get to the phone in time to answer, but the call was from an unknown number in Manchester, so it was probably another scam call.
