The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. We received a silent call from them which locked our line for a few minutes even when we put the phone down and pick it up again. We dialed 1471 and got the above number which I called on my mobile but withheld our number and they identified themselves as the above company, as soon as we got the name, we hang up. They deal in arranging Loans, Credit Cards, Claim Entitlements & Debt Solutions which you pay just to get the type of service you want regardless if you go ahead with it or not. They based in No
The person said they where from 118 live directory, he asked for the business owner which I am not so I said no I’m afraid he won’t be in untill friday at that point he hung up. I did 14713 and called back to get an automated American voice saying it was utility direct. Scam.
Oriental sounding woman called who had my full name, telling me that the UK pension rules had changed and that the call was from the Government to advise me on those changes. Asked about what kind of pensions I had. At that point I politely ended the call. seemed to be a fact finding call about me for nefarious reasons. If I want pension advice I can speak to a qualified advisor or look at a website. Sounded as if the call was scripted as she couldn t / wouldn t answer my questions.

SCAM Call from a foreign gentleman with no control of the English language. He advised he was calling about a recent accident claim. I shouted I was frustrated by the length of time it took him to get back to me, his colleague contacted me several months ago, he apologised and asked me to confirm the nature of my accident. I explained it occured while driving on the M25 I heard an enormous explosion and had to swerve to avoid an oncoming attack by the North Korean Military headed by Kim Jung-un. He hung up.

RAC, Cancelled my membership after they screwed me over on parts and labour. Stated in black and white the parts are covered and they held my car 12 days. This call was to try and push their fear mongering on the cancellation and fee s that i owe them. Worst Breakdown service ever. Happy to take your money not happy to pay out! They shit themselves when i showed up with the police at their RAC approved Garage and this was the 4th garage they moved my car to Total scum.
Has called twice in a few days. Hangs up when answered before I can respond. Suspicious and annoying. Seems like spam or phishing style of call. BLOCKED it.

SCAM. Claimed to be BT Openreach regarding my apparently "hacked" internet (I don't have any internet in my name not am I a BT customer). Same script and same voice used as previous attempt from a different number. Do not give her any personal info. I wasted her time for a while then she got frustrated and hung up.
i answered the phone then he said who is there which i didn t answer to so I asked him who he was but he put the phone down on me but to whoever it was there he had a lot of noise like a radio a group of other people in the background talking loudly.
