Banking Scam - VISA - Money waiting my permission to be paid overseas from my current account -(American woman's pre - recorded voice) I checked my online banking account and nothing waiting to be paid overseas.
I have been bombarded with calls from this number for over a month now. A company calls me almost every day from India introducing themselves as PPI Reclaim. Depending on what I m doing at the time, I either just hang up, tell them I never had PPI, or ask them to stop calling. Since they kept calling, I decided to go through with what they were after (without giving away personal info) and they passed my name onto 3 PPI reclaim companies based in the UK. SCAM ....I got a text at 10.30pm allegedly from Gov.uk saying I was due a tax refund and to fill in my details and then see if I was really due a tax refund. I called the number back and it rang out for a while and went onto voicemail GIFFGAFF VOICEMAIL! I left a message asking when the government started using Giffgaff and not to contact me again as I would be calling the police. It is under the guise of HMRC ALERT. On checking the number here it comes up as Manchester and O2 network
there was a long silence and then a recorded ladies voice said goodbye and hung up.

SCAM This is a scam operation. An older lady calls to tell you that they have confirmed advertising space in local hospital/ school publication. These publications don't exist. They invoice and use factoring companies. We were stung for around £250 previously. Not heard from them in a couple of years so they've obviously started up again. Just hang up.

Their salesman told me lies about getting Government Funding for my windows, and then duped me into giving him my number and subsequently taking an Appointment Card so he could get his commission. When I found this out, I blocked their number. Utterly disgusting.
Fraud taken 315.00 of my money in exchange for a loan thats never been received.
Had a missed call alert from this number as above. Answerphone also said AM Legal so sounds like a cold call. If you have option to block I would recommend doing so!

Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.
