Received a call from 'Andrew' allegedly from the technical department of BT who told me my internet connection would be disconnected in 2 hours. I asked where he was phoning from and he said the BT Tower in London. He said I had a lot of problems with my connection over the last few days so they were going to disconnect me. SCAMMERS. I have just been called by them. They knew who to ask for, but it was an unsolicited call "checking my details" to see if they were up to date. The man with a foreign accent (I know that doesn't mean anything necessarily) seemed unconfident and not quite right somehow. It was unlike any bank call I have ever received. When I said I would prefer not to discuss anything with him over the phone due to extensive scamming he said he would send me a letter. I agree with previous comments. This is a scam
