Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. This number phones me every day. I have them blocked, buy they still managed to leave a partial message on my voice mail. I don't think they realised the message had got through, as by the tone of it, and the swear words I heard..they are obviously frustrated that I don't answer.????
caller was very faint - stated that a sum of money will be added to my account and requested that I press number 1. I hung up.
Call centre, claiming to be the Technical Department @ Virgin Media, wishing to discuss my internet access. I told her my number is registered with TPS and requested that all of my details are immediately removed from their database. She hung up without confirming whether she had complied. Strangely, her telephone number seems to be a landline in Germany and she is calling a UK mobile number. As I am not a Virgin Media customer, this is most likely a scam.
