SCAM Variation on the number. I just took a call from 02080798023 - same thing claiming to be from O2 offering 50% discount. I told him scamming people him will catch up with him. He dropped the line. Blocked and reported.

Called out of the blue by this number and voicemail left claiming supposedly that legal actions are to be taken against me shortly, press 1 to speak to someone. Called the number back and it doesn't accept incoming calls. on the face of it, appears to be a total scam.

Automated phone call supposedly from Nationwide, only it isnt from Nationwide at all. Scam.

Recorded message from "bank security" reporting suspicious transactions on account to Amazon and International Money Transfer. Broken English - clearly scam and a very amateurish one at that.

This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. SCAM Caller claimed to be Covid19 monitoring for the NHS, when I asked to clarify who they were, they cut the call. BLOCK THIS NUMBER. I do not know what their scam is, but it seems they are wanting your personal medical information.

This number claimed to be from BT. The person said I may have a technical error in my broadband router. I disputed it and I asked the person to give me their number so I could call them back. I was told I could Google it and when I said I was not going to Google it and I asked again for their number the line went dead.

Accident claims management, American female automated number. Couldn't find through google but found it by using my home Nr, then I hung up

SCAM Called to offer IVA Debt Relief. Claiming to be from a company called Citizen Capital. Stated my name was sent to them from the government as someone who needed debt relief. They wouldn't accept that I didn't need help and I wasn't in need of debt relief - let alone an IVA!

SPAM Company called UK Tarif. Hung up every time I answered so rang back and they started talking about over paid broadband etc etc then hung up

SPAM After phoning me several times a day, every single day for a week, I finally picked up. Nobody spoke after I said "Hello" several times. I could hear background noise, and foreign language speakers chatting in the background. Highly likely a scam, just auto dialling a list of numbers in their database.

Call center SCAM - was called by 524 5430 last week so blocked, then today received a call frm 524 5541 relating to insulation. These are such a pain, the government should do something about this.
