I subscribe to The Economist, and renewed my subscription very late this year, a few days after the expiry. I finally picked up this call after several days and they said they wanted to know if I would renew my Economist subscription. I said that I already had, and they said "Oh, let me check my new system. Oh yes, you have, that s ok then." and that was all. A little odd, but seems like the Economist gives them the opportunity to salvage some lapsed subscriptions.

Took a contract out with car phone warehouse have not given out number which means car phone warehouse has passed on my number against my will. Got a call off a generic sounding girl called Hannah who was adamant that I have had an accident recently. I kept saying I haven t and she hung up. I rang back and asked why she hung up (which she didn t answer). She persisted to know about my accident history. Sound very dodgy to me

08443373025 called this morning but left no message. I have been having lots of these types of calls for a long time. Yesterday a local number phoned 10 times I finally answered and it was a company who will recoup money from you if u were miss sold a bank account.
