Gruff sounding guy claiming to be from Vodafone. Knew my name. I’d been chosen to receive better broadband. Didn’t sound like Vodafone customer service at all. Asked if I was the owner of property, could tell he was going to ask for my full details. Which I didn’t give. He got annoyed with me when I didn’t disclose any info. Sounded like a scam or fishing for my details.
Accident that I never had. Fed up of these calls.

100 a scam The caller was a very poor speaker of English who went through a list of questions as though it was some manner of survey then in order to confirm my thank you gift for taking part in the survey the caller asked me to visit a website and download software called Teamviewer which is software they can use to remote control your computer
Caller, from Indian sub-Continent by his voice, said that he was calling from BT Open Reach - told him that I did not believe him, hung up and blocked number.

Have had several cal;ls but I never answer tyjhose that I do not the number of but it is annoying, unsolicited and basically harrassment. I can see why older people get snagged up with these things and end up well out of pocket.This is the type of thing that government should be legislating about and force mobile phine and landline operators to bar numbers from using their networks - reason why they dont? perhaps people in government make money out of it - maybe?

The business directory phones my office about 6 times a day. Most of the time they wait until I answer before they simply hang up. Other times they ask for my company details. I was asked to speak tot he business owner so knew straight away it was a cold call to which I said no thank you and put the phone down. To which the caller rang back and was somewhat aggressive the next time stating that I had put the phone down on him and that he would e-mail my director telling him what I had done then proceeded to hang up on me. Having read the previous comment, there is no surprise why he behaved in this way!
