17 Feb 2021 - I have recieved a call from this number today, a couple of weeks ago i had a conversation with someone who wanted access to my property to change the meter. I contacted EON and they confirmed that was not anything wrong with the meter and they did not know why I had had that call. Reply

SCAM Unknown company trying to promote 'Home Funding' - no idea what that is - but company lost interest when asked awkward questions. Definite scam.

Stated he was from a company called Caledonian. Wouldnt tell me anything about the company or why he was calling until I said I had time to spare to talk properly. I hung up. Obviously trying to either sell me something or claim back PPI or similar. Not very forthcoming. I would avoid this company.

This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. Number claims to be from NHS stating I have been in contact with someone who has Omicron Variant and I must order a free PCR testing kit and left a link to claim it. How would they know I have been in contact with someone with that variant? Expect it is a scam and if I clicked on the link who knows what the result might be. Something about an accident that I was never in.
01892710579 -Claimed to be my local energy advisor and that I was responsible for the bills. They called my work number which I do not give out to businesses, also the classic pause before he introduced himself which is a sign they are using automated calling software, illegal in the UK.
