Stated he was from a company called Caledonian. Wouldnt tell me anything about the company or why he was calling until I said I had time to spare to talk properly. I hung up. Obviously trying to either sell me something or claim back PPI or similar. Not very forthcoming. I would avoid this company.

Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. Appreciate this seems to be a legit and helpful company from the other messages left here, but I just received a call from these guys and had no idea why they were calling me. Constantly calls, approx. 4 calls a day, until the last 3 or 4 days where it has become more, including 30 calls at least today!! Answered once and told them I am on TPS please do not call again, and was told don t care as you cannot do anything and was laughed at before he hung up! Needs to be closed down
