They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc

Call looks like a normal YK mobile number but in search it indicates that the number originates in Ahmedabad in India. As I don t know anyone from or in India I can only assume that it is a call from some call centre or a scam or perhaps both. Treat with suspicion.

This is another fake number being used by the criminals to say they are Talk Talk and whose purpose is to infect computers. It was a silent call - not a sound when I answered - but that is not unusual. I get such calls daily. Loads of calls in the last two days, number always changes, and they speak very fast in Indian. I got so annoyed I went through their "survey" which was just a phishing experiment and gave them a load of rubbish but made sure that at the very very end when they asked the question if you were OK to have other parties call about your answers I said "not ok" and he did repeat it back and said that no-one would call. We shall see !! Clearly a crappy company.
They rang me, left an 8 second voicemail with no sound on it. Proceeded to text the number but it wouldn t send, and I can t call the number either.
