Claimed to be from BT Connect and wanted to "save us money". Wanted to know who we were with for telecomms, told them TalkTalk as they were much friendlier & responsive than BT (true). "Amy" was VERY insistent that she "come round and talk to us about saving money on our telecomms". Obviously we firmly refused, said goodby and put the phone down with her saying "but..but". Pest!

SCAM - this voicemail says I have won on the US lottery and to ring the accounts team on a certain number and quote the winning ticket number which they give you in the voicemail. I do not play any lottery!!
Caller put phone down when I picked up. Not a number I recognise.
When I answer, it rings another number so I cut it off before that one was answered. I can only imagine this works as a reverse charge call because effectively you end up calling them. I have been called once a day for the past week by this number. Guess it is an advertising call centre or something. But will probably never find out because I cut them off.
