Pete, the manager, worked tirelessly to fix the problem. He called me when he said he would on more than one occasion and went way beyond the call of duty. Phone rang at approx 7.30pm Sat 25 Oct 2014. Answered and said "Hello". An Asian woman asked for me by name, but there was a lot of noise in the background so immediately made me think that this was wrong. If it was a reputable company (who should still be not allowed to make cold calls) it would be silent. I didn t confirm my name but asked who the company was. She said Social UK and proceeded to explain she was doing a survey. I had to talk over her to ask her not to call this number again and then

I m being charged for 5 calls I did not make to this premium number. I have no idea who it is but if anyone sees it on the bills, it is a scam.
Was woken up at 5.45 this morning by this caller. Didn t get to the phone and remained in bed tossing and turning wondering who it could be and if something had happened to a relative! Went to reverse the number and find out who called and it said this number. Reading from a few places it says it s a foreign man from national accident helpline. Should be illegal. Our number is ex-directory and we ve used TPS and this should not be possible!

Very bubbly sounding lady called Leslie, on a terrible line, called from this number. Claimed to be from some kind of insurance company, said the information had come from the "Road Traffic Accident Commission" or similar. Apparently I was in an accident that wasn t my fault. After asking her to repeat her company name, and pointing out that I hadn t had an accident, she hung up on me.
