Phone scam! called and tried to get my personal information! I asked them what company are they and they couldn t even give me an answer! so I drop the phone and block them

Another scamy company from manchester. Usually calls asking for Emily or Emily smith (had other calls from other northern based numbers asking for the same person . They are all phising for info via PPI, survey, selling newspaper subscriptions, new fuel contracts or telephone contracts. All scams!

Hmmm, Made an online enquiry about a Stair Lift yesterday evening, using a pseudonym, and they call the following morning asking for me by that pseudonym. Very interesting!

Several missed calls to my hubbys mobile.

Told me and said they came from Virgin Media that my internet speed was slow then hung up

did a ring back and got an answer phone and nothing else

Having received a call from this number I decided to call the number back, it was connected to a Pension Claims company, however as I have started to notice if you listen to the full message you can remove your details by pressing X/#... so will see if this works.

Stated my wife s name and our address and asked my wife to confirm. My wife asked who it was , but they never answered and just hung up

Came up as international? Asked for previous owner. She said she was from UK Mailing Lists and wants to do survey about your home! Yeah right. Scammers.

AO.com are one of not the cheapest supplier of domestic electrical goods. there is a reason for that. Two weeks after delivery I am still getting calls (even though I told them no) to try and sell you an extended warranty policy.... sent messages back basically tell them to get lost and stop calling... and yet the continue to call.

When I answered the call the guy said Hi this is UK Advice Centre, how are you? I asked what the call was regarding and the line was disconnected. Obviously looking for a less inquisitive person!

pretty sure its the same old PPI nonsense. blocked the number as soon as the cursed word was mentioned by the woman at the other end of the line.

said he was from the MINISTRY of Justice!, and that I had incurred bank charges and was owed money. wanted to get my first name and date of birth. I said i was called Jeff - I m a woman- and gave a false dob before I hung up. Strong male Asian accent - another load of old rubbish and making nuisance of themselves

I didn t pick up but I knew exactly what they were calling for, this was the third time they called me in as many days. Every couple of months EE will try to get me to switch from the £10 Everything sim to something more expensive. I tell them every time that I m not interested in changing at all but they keep calling. Most annoying thing ever- they don t take no for an answer and when I say I m not interested they pretend they didn t hear and keep trying.
