Got a call today from some guy asking for me by name (which I didn t acknowledge - I never do.) I immediately asked who was calling to throw him off his spiel, unfortunately he mumbled his "company" which sounded like s&l legal? and immediately launched into his sales patter regarding the mis-selling of PPI. I let him ramble on for a few then interrupted him by saying I worked in the banking industry and could run rings round him with regards this. SCAM: Called me advising Ithat if I didnt press 1, I had a love tax fraud warrant against me and it would be immediately sent to my home. Dangerously aggressive for anyone vulnerable.
Their first comment was we are not trying to sell you anything then carried on talking even though I was trying to interrupt. I said I was not interested and they simply hung up. They have actually called several times and I've requested my number be removed from their call list where they said no and hung up again.

Called yesterday trying to drum up business for UK Essentials. Possibly the same "Lady" (Based on accent) called again today asking for my wife, when politely asked what they wanted, initially guessed I was her husband, when asked again what they wanted, they told me they were asking the questions not me and that I should **** off before hanging up.
Computer generated voice informed me I was about to be prosecuted for tax fraud by HMRC and I "must press 1 immediately" to avoid imminent arrest.
I have 6 calls in the last few days, despite me telling them not to call again
