Apparently they are RTB UK Ltd I checked their site http://www.rtbuk.net/ it shows to be a debt collection agency. I would not trust them because they called my number looking for my brother who doesn t even live in the country!!! They would not tell me how they got it in the first place. Stay away.

I got a call from this number claiming to be the HMRC. When I questioned them saying it does not sound legitimate he asked why I was wasting their time. I would guess this is a bogus call.

Automated message from someone claiming to be from BT and that they were about to disconnect my landline due to activity on the line. They then asked me to press 1 to get in contact with CEO. Sounds very dodgy to me so hung up!
This number has called me this week at least 10 times already - Minimum 2 to 3 calls per day. We ignore it now but it is an incredible nuisance.

Received this call from this number introducing the company as CMA after I'd had an accident. Told me my details were 'passed on to them'. They've been harassing me every night from similar numbers for almost a week now. Asking me to confirm details of accident so that some sort of insurance or compensation claim can be made against the other driver's insurance. Avoid!!

As everybody else said, an indian man called with lots of background noise claiming to be from Talktalk. He said there was a problem with the internet running slowly. Had I noticed this? I realised it was a scam and thought I d play along for a little. He asked if I had a PC or laptop so I lied and told him that I only had a tablet. Having reported a fault to BT online, I received a call from this number. My (BT) screening phone did not let it through. Fraud claiming I was due to be arrested over my NI number fraud.
SCAM This number is called me as a HMRC, some tax is under my name and if I don’t push number 1 button on my phone, and don’t sort it, will be arrested soon.
The guy said he was from Ecosave Power, which, having read the above, was true. However, he then asked if I had received my renewal paperwork, so I asked if he could tell me who my energy supplier was (I have recently changed suppliers, so would not be expecting any renewal paperwork yet). He said he would call me back - I said no, I can hold on, so he hung up. If that s not suspicious, what is?!
