Fraud. Got a call I didn't answer. They left a voice mail it wasn't a person it sounded like a generic message. It said there was something wrong with my financial account and then said I'll be arrested ( they spelt out the word arrested) I have 2 phones the one they rang is the one I use for fam/ friends it's not the one attached to any of my bank account/ online shopping. There is absolutely no reason any business should have that number.

I was almost caught completely with this scam. I have been having problems with my internet speeds recently so believed them. Stupidly I did some of the things they asked me to check the speeds. Got suspicious when they asked me to submit me internet details in order to get the compensation that they claim I was owed. An Indian sounding woman called Lisa. They called about an accident, they couldn't name the person that had the accident, what kind of accident or when. I asked where they got my number from and that was against data protection also. I asked them to remove my number from their list. I have now blocked them with my call blocker pro.

Scam or possible fraud, robotic caller announces that two recent unusual withdrawals have recently been made on my card , no specifics given and followed by Press 1 to speak to advisor.
This number from ManU was calling to my 2 numbers every day 10:30am then 13:00-14:00 for nearly a week. Answered-no responce, ring8ng back same. Scam guys. Block and report!

I believe this to be a telephone/banking scam. They purported to be my bank but they said they wanted me to open another account and transfer money from my account into this other account - at that point I stopped the call and called the number on the back of my debit card and reported the call to my bank fraud department.

I have had 27 calls from this number in the last 6 days, ranging from 3 to 7 calls a day. Not one speaks, blocked the number and now it just goes onto voice mail where it's hung up within seconds or once there was music left on the voice mail. I have had recent calls regarding early upgrading my mobile from EE
