Called yesterday trying to drum up business for UK Essentials. Possibly the same "Lady" (Based on accent) called again today asking for my wife, when politely asked what they wanted, initially guessed I was her husband, when asked again what they wanted, they told me they were asking the questions not me and that I should **** off before hanging up.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Advice to anyone receiving sh*t like this: If you're really concerned it might be genuine, just phone your bank using the number on the back of your debit card. Then! Google Kitboga, ScammerRevolts, Jim Browning, etc. They'll tell you everything you need to know and more! Jeez, I really hate these scammers. Utter parasites. Lower than a snakes belly.

I responded to a text advert when I advertised my car for sale. We buy any car offered a quotation if I provide basic vehicle details. They provided an(under)valuation figure to offer to buy your car, I wasnt interested however I was later telephoned by the company to whome I Confirmed I was Not interested in selling to them. The company has since contacted me again three times, they have my contact number from the original add.
Got a call today from some guy asking for me by name (which I didn t acknowledge - I never do.)
