I just had a call from this number too, claiming to be "D M Experts". The person he asked to speak to, Ben , does not exist on my number or at my address and I have been plagued with calls lately from some company claiming to be something to do with the Office of Fair Trading, who also always asks for Ben , but they have the sense to block their number. No answer when I picked up. Part of a series of different suspicious mobile numbers to have called me since yesterday. Only one of them responded when I picked up a (an automated message supposedly from my unnamed Internet provider).

I had a call from this number purporting to be from the "Smile the Internet Bank" fraud dept. I terminated the call as I was not satisfied with their line of questioning.

My wife answered and a recorded message said it HMRC and that they had a case against us. She tried phoning back, but it was a pre recorded message again. This is utter rubbish....

They have just called 5 times in a row - not left any voicemail message, so not answering or calling back.

Claimed to be from citizens advice calling about a car accident, she hung up on me. When I called back the number was a 'marketing line'

They told me id had an accident... (which I didn t) so I told them id just done a poo in my pants if they would like to help me with my accident !! They then got annoyed which I found hilarious as after the conversation was over it was them annoyed and not me! That s the way to deal with these harassing fools!

IAM Surety, will usually call from this number repeatedly up to a month before your renewal date to discuss the renewal. Once you agree (or reject) the renewal they'll stop...

I have been called two days running by the following number:- 01482 6768786

Had a call asking for me by name, said that they had got my PPI back for me. They know the bank that I had dealt & asked if I had a account with them now, told them no had new one, they asked which, I told them the first one that came into my head. Asked what type I said saving one, asked about insurance, said don t want any. They put phone done.

They ve been spamming our number with an automated caller for weeks, eventually got through to speak to a person and asked them to remove me but the call is unsolicited.

If you are lucky enough to have an Iphone, you can block the number.

I ve received 3 calls from these idiots - two I failed to answer but after reading posts on sites like this decided, for my own amusement, to answer on the third call. The chap on the other end rambled on about insurance and said he was from a company called Red Star. When I asked who Red Star were he got quite abrupt/aggressive.
