The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. SCAM Said it was HMRC calling because an arrest warrant had been issued pressed one to be put through to case handler, told me if i put the phone down i would just be waiting for the police to arrive and arrest me
1471 revealed that an unanswered call came from this number. When I tried phoning back the number was not recognised. Obviously an unwanted nuisance call.
I dont drive but apparently I crashed my car anyway!

This number has called me 5times in 9days,i don't answer it because I don't recognise the number, becoming a nuisance.
I am a bit confused. They called in asking to check the Fibre Glass on our roof for health and safety inspection. They knew my surename but never mentioned my first. The chap on the phone spoke very fast, couldnt get a hold of company name or anything like that.
