I have just had a call from a lady from 01704 222222 claiming to work for Albany Assist and wanting to talk to me about the non fault accident I have had in the last two and a half years. I told her I hadn’t had one and the call ended. Reported to the real Albany Assist as per the request in this thread. Interesting that if you call the number back no one answers. Caller was a scouse female.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. 12 calls in the last 24 hours from this number. Answered first call and was told they were to do with PPI, I immediately asked to be removed from calling list caller then became rude and abusive. No further calls answered, this seems to not deter them at all, and is bordering on criminal harassment.

Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. I received a call from a man who himself as an employee of Consumer Helpline - spent Reactive Media. Supposedly I would have paid a lot of money, which would be paid back to me now. I asked him to whom exactly I should have paid the money and just hung up.

Slightly Indian sounding Woman called "Len" claiming to be from BT and asking for an email address to send information to. When I ask for her email address so I could allow it through our spam filters, she repeated she wanted my email address. I repeated I wanted her email address... she hung up. Time-wasting idiots, We don t even have any BT lines.

Scam call asking about our the card machine we had. When I asked him which one, he hung up. Sounded like it was an overseas call centre, and not Newcastle area.

They called saying they were doning government survey etc , I told them I didn t want to know and also said we were registered with TPS. I eventually put phone down on them.
