They are a central heating company. They will only call you if you have given them or a third party your telephone number.

I was asked about my pension history and whether I had a PIP. If I did the government have announced that I should be able to reclaim over-charging, particularly if my pension pot was more than £10,000. I asked for details of their website and she gave me theirs where there is no reference to this. Also mention gov.co.uk (which is obviously gov.uk) and I can find no reference to what she said. Also nothing on Moneysaving Expert, my go-to place for this type of thing.

Last night I received a call from this number and a man asked to speak to my husband. When I asked what it was about he said he was from Chase Alexander. I asked for more details and he hung up This morning he phoned again and again said he was from Chase Alexander and wanted to speak to my husband. When I asked him what he was calling about he said it was in regard to an accident. I informed him my husband had not had an accident could he be more specific. Fraud. Got a text supposedly from GOV.UK with an https// click-in, advising me that they have identified me as being eligible for a discounted energy bill under the energy bill support scheme. Mmmm how did they know my number? why didn't I get an official letter/mmmm. No surprise really it's a fraud scam, the government doesn't text you to tell you they are giving you money,and as far as I know will never do this anyway. Why aren't they traced and shut down?
