At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number. Searching for the owner of this number on the web, I found out that this number belongs to a legitimate lead generation and lifestyle survey company named Simply Outbound. These people are hounding me, I press their 9 opt-out which they just ignore and their people hang up on me when I try to ask them to remove me.

This scumbag caller using a UK number yet again proves that TPS Iis a sham. Lack of proper controls by telecoms companies and inadequate government action make them complicit in this form of systematic harassment.

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!

Another financial company, this time asking about pensions. He mentioned the FSA a lot and new legislation coming in regarding admin fees. He sounded very plausible and asked what companies I had pensions with. I told him I wasn t interested and eventually, he ended the call. Blocked this contact now on my iPhone.

Just took one of these calls. After reading from a script about a survey, they were polite enough to ask "Are you ready for the first question?". I replied "No!". They hung up :)
