Got a call from this number at 13:00 today. No message left when my answerphone kicked in. Tried a call-back, as it is a relatively local Hull exchange number but guess what - The number is unrecognised. Yet another telepest. Number now barred on my system.

This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.

Rang me today (4.1.23) with a very bad line but sounded like sales. When asked “where are you based” the line went dead.
Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said "Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1". I'd cancelled my Amazon Prime membership ages ago! After the first call, I screened the next few calls to my answer machine where no message was left, just silence. Best advice I can give is BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK the muppets. They disputed my PPI Claim as they offer Repayment Option, only changed the name in 2008 so got company sorting it now. Had my card 11 years so know I m owed thousands & Im not payin em a penny more till sorted. My hubby paid approx 680 over 7 years on his natwest & got ?2,196 back. It s worth checking everyone, we couldn t believe it as his limit was only ?800 & a business card. Good luck & keep blocking...

Left a message on my ansafone claiming to be from Sarah Wilson at HMRC and threatening legal action if I or my solicitor didn t call them back immediately! Called back and spoke to a male with an Asian accent who gave his name as Kevin. He eventually hung up when I insisted on speaking to Sarah Wilson. I called HMRC who confirmed this is not a genuine call from them!
