Called 3 times this morning and when I picked up it hangs up. Gives me a weird feeling about what is behind this practice. Are they checking for live phone numbers for other call centres?

I get regular calls from this number and on pick up it goes dead,It is very irritating and I would like to know who they are so I can get them to stop

just received a call from these morons, rang back and automated message says they re called "Discover Finance".

I keep getting calls on my mobile and home phone from this number I try not to answser them so fed up of them keep ringing me all the time

I was called on my mobile by someone trying to tell me that my sister (I have power of attorney) owed 53.23 to BT but if I paid the full amount by card, then she would have her line restricted and avoid further charges of 18.00 for re-connection. They were really pushy that I make a payment but I thought something was off and wouldn t give any details at all!

rang saying to expect a ppi claim in post. then asked if I d had a previous payout. I put phone down

She said was from Boost and hung up. I m not interested.

This is an Indian call centre which asks you to do a quick survey which they add that they re not calling to sell you anything - as soon as you say that you re not interested they hang up.. the thing is, they call you the next day saying the exact same thing!!!

called three times in 25 mins notleaving a voicemail. Tend to agree with others that this is a likely sign of an agressive, sales commision driven call centre who will never give up if you answer them

01691 - 660971 This number is a SCAM!!! They called my landline at 8.49am (automated at first) pretending to be AMAZON to say I'm about to be charged £39.99 for my AMAZON PRIME subscription which i don't have and have never signed up for, but to cancel it i need to be on my device and they would talk me through it on-line. When i asked if is this was a SCAM she said 'What are you talking about' and put the phone down on me.

I have found out that they would call you by reverse charges and drain your mobile credit or boost your phone charges!!! I will ignore their calls from now on and will never answer them. the Ba****ds!!!!!
