They called pretending to be our internet provider and wanted to connect to our internet to see if there were any issues. When we declined and told them that we had a dedicated I.T department that dealt with that, they hung up.
After what has been an horrendous and traumatic experience of accruing debt due to my account not being updated properly after a house move from over a year ago, I actually spoke with an amazing lady at Scottish Power this evening, her name is Rehan, employee number E896050. Rehan listened, was patient and understanding, she provided relevant feedback with clear a explanation and was so courteous and professional! SCAM heavily accented Asian offering a survey for something, couldn't understand what for. Asked for me by name.
Fraud. A recorded voice told me that my visa card was being used to purchase something in the region of £600. I was supposed to press '1' but the voice didn't say what for!! I tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. Beware!

Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.
Another scammer just hung up when I answered it's the third one today

I had a few calls from the number in question. The person sounds like Turkish and lots of background noise sounds like a call centre.
This number is apparently from Indiq, it sent me a random job enquiry thing about some sort of pretty high paying jobs saying I’ll get paid in pounds. No clue who this is but this is the second message similar to this that I’ve received recently. Not sure if this is a spam/scam or if it’s just a mistake but pretty suspicious since it listed the amount paid in pounds and was a very high amount and said the job listing was in London even though this number is clearly not British

This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. He is an elderly gentleman and went straight to the police as he doesn’t have Amazon prime, the police called the number but it doesn’t accept incoming calls surprise surprise. SCAMMERS
