When I picked up the phone I could hear a recorded voice gabbling on about pensions. It was the same as I got last week on a different number. It was also the second nuisance call in one morning. I was trying to get ready for an appointment.
MOT reminder! In principle that is a good idea, but I have repeat missed calls at least 2 a day, when the phone never actually rings just leaves a missed call message with the 0345 number! Do they expect me to call them to find out why they called. If it is MOT reminder, just text me don t repeat call, that is aggressive advertising!
Automated voice saying that I would be arrested for fraudulent activity to do with my national insurance number. They wanted me to press 1 to speak to an officer - I chose not to because I was concerned I would get charged. When the message ended, the call ended. Definitely Fraud/SCAM.

The caller says they are from the Royal Mail and that I have a package being held in Central London. They want payment to release it. The cost is minimal but felt like a scam. Asked them to send me an email. On receipt, it definitely looks like a scam. I think if postage is underpaid, you get a note to say so through the mail. I'm marking it as dangerous as my gut tells me this is a phishing attack but I can't confirm.

Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. SPAM Although this call comes up as being from Southampton; it is not. Both my husband and I have had this call several times. On examination, the very nice lady called Jenny said she was calling from South East Asia. I was polite to her and asked that we are taken off he calling list as these continous calls were an absolute nuiscance.

SCAM Purporting to be a bank card fraud department. The guy had an Indian accent... and I do not use the bank that was mentioned, so I put the phone down. The ONLY fraud was the caller. No doubt they would have been asking for all sorts of things - DO NOT give them any information whatsoever.

Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.
