Get these so called survey calls on an almost daily basis
Claimed to be from BT suggesting my internets had been hacked by outsiders. Offered to help me to stop these people from accessing my internets. Advised me to go to a web site to allow connection to my computer and to download software. I then told them i work in IT security whereupon the caller became very rude and hung up on me.

Called as I had gone over my limit on my card. They did hang up the first time they tried calling me which was annoying to which the adviser informed me that they are having issues with the auto dialler system. I believe Aqua credit also use a similar number.
An automatic message claiming to be from HMRC, saying that if I didn t press 1 then I would be arrested as there were proceedings against me.
Accident claim. Usual ‘You were in an accident’. No I wasn’t! Sick to death of this scam calls.

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. The caller rang of as soon as I answered. Therefore I suspect some Sort of sales rubbish or scammer. They will not get a chance to mess me about again as I am blocking the number. I hate this method of trying to sell things to the general public. Most of my peer group no longer answer their land line or their mobile if the number is not in their phones contact list.
