who is this and where did they get my number from?? i did get someone at the other end earlier today , they mumbled something, called me by a name then the line went dead. SCAM - phoned with recorded message about my NI being used fraudulently, then please hold for an officer.....then a foreign man answered said he is from the national fraud division...after me asking him a couple of pinpoint questions he hung up. Turns out the number is a vodafone mobile number.
After a bit of sleuthing I ve found out that this number belongs to Verso Group, a telemarketing company. You can request to have your number removed from their database via [email?protected] or by calling their customer complaints team on 01582 763 090.
