Man with an extremely conk Indian accent but calling himself something like James Jeferson phoned me a day after I put my CV on line, I phoned back and told him I was at work but he said he would call me back; he kept repeating details that were on my CV saying he was just confirming them. Told me about companies that I already knew about and to whom I had applied for; said he was passing my details to his seniors (dodgy) who would call me with more details, he called me three more times but really pissed

Fraudulent call centre(could hear this in the background) saying I had been victim of a fraud on my Amazon account which had had £1200 charged go the credit card linked to the account. Wanted me to push 1 or 2 etc to deal with the issue. I hung up but someone else may be duped by this type of con. Very angry that they can do this all the time.

Rang my mother . Knew all her details. Pretended to be British Gas and said if she paid 199.99 now she would save money. They even knew her BG home service plan was up for renewal soon. He was so polite and convincing, she gave her bank card details. Luckily Nationwide have done a visa dispute and refunded her. We have phoned trading standards, British gas . Written a cancellation letter to so called company. This needs to go to Watchdog.

Phoned me several times but as I found out why they called, by reading comments on this site, I have added their number to my list of blocked calls on my Call Guardian phone setup. Now the phone only rings once then automatically cuts them off without me having to do anything other than laugh at them for wasting their time.

called my mobile hung up when I toucned my mobile to answer, put mobile down only to hear someone speaking in what sounded like Asian/American accent picked up phone again, only to here that my phone was calling someone, and the same voice now recorded, saying you call will be recorded for training bla bla bla usual rubbish!!! Number rang me three times in an hour, answered the third time and they hung up straight away. Rang again four days later and hung up as soon as I answered

Caller tried to tell me they HMRC and that I owed tax. In the end I told them I would go directly to HMRC
