My husband has had this number come up on his phone saying his vodaphone bill not paid, when I checked it had been. Wanted payment details which he wouldn’t give. So yes a scam.
Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Paid number. Received a voicemail from a woman speaking a foreign language that I do not speak after not answering. The voicemail was the same as one I received from a different paid number. Pretty sure that this is a scam (I have no reason to receive so many similar calls from different numbers), either one which expects you to call back in confusion so you can be charged or one that will try to scam you if you do pick it up.
