The caller mentioned a number of lapses in my website which they could fix as part of their ?400 package, including Google ranking etc. Rather than taking her word for it, I tested these so called lapses on a friend s mobile device which contradicted everything she was saying. She was contacting me as they had our name on there contact list to purchase a new house. (Only becuase we handed over our contact details in the past.)
I blocked this number and a very similar number (one digit different) after calls from both numbers to my mother. Both callers claimed to be from Clearwater Home Services, calling about the "nuisance calls to your account". A quick search showed a company of this name in the US. Mum doesn't have an account with an organisation of this name. I am guessing that these were amongst a long line of scam calls, claiming Mum has an account that needs to be renewed, card details verified etc.,

tried asking nicely to remove us from their list for months they ve recently persisted so i blocked their number in our system, they kept leaving voicemails instead... so finally today I have reported them to every authority going (including ofcom) and called them to inform them that if we receive any further communications from them, legal proceedings will begin immediately. i advise you report them to ofcom too - multiple reports about the same company will eventually work to get them shut down a
