These guys are persistent and will call you endlessly, if you have caller display just ignore them, and call bar them if possible.

Name of company was something or other polls. Caller had a heavy Asian accent and I think he has called many times before for different companies. Said he wanted to ask me only four questions about my use of brands but his first question was to confirm my address, at which point I hung up.

Same story for me. I'm curious to know where they get our numbers from. I get calls from all over the country (including the Faroe Islands last week!). Automobile insurance...

Called saying from o2 never asked for any of my personal details but sent me a one time pass code kept me on the line for quite some time offering me discount on my bill plus free upgrade. When call ended contacted o2 and was informed that the one time pass code is what they use to lock me out of the account and gives them the access to use my account

I used to live in the 01375 dialling code area but moved away over 2 years ago over 200 miles away! but this number has rung 3 times and I am ex-directory and on the TPS list but they have managed to ring me.

These people have conned my mum into signing for £3844 for a adjustable bed. Knocked£1000. Off for discount and took a deposit of £695 from her. I will be trying to stop this tomorrow. Watch this space. She is nearly 80 and preyed on by a woman. Disgraceful.

Spam call, claiming to be from BT and saying hackers have got into your computer but BT will help you to sort it out. If you say you're not with BT, that doesn't bother them as they just say BT is the overall company and they're just protecting you. 'Annie' hung up when I insisted she was a scammer.

pretending to be from Nationwide- I do have an account with them but not at the postcode he asked me to confirm- when I asked him to explain what his call was about before I gave my details, he hung up on me! Said his name was Daniel- very heavy accent

Automated message (American accent) saying they are from HM Revenue and Customs. It is a time sensitive issue and they want you to call back - they give you the number to phone!!

This number has called me over 100 times asking for a person by another name. They are rude to me saying that I do not know what I am talking about, they out the phone down when I say I will report them. They have phoned every day and still do - we do not answer the phone now until we know who is calling. This is a breach of our human rights. It s about time the government did something about it. Caller said he was phoning from Sky and said the warranty on my Sky setup is due and he was going to upgrade me and started to ask personal questions. Told him i no longer have Sky (which was a lie) and he hung up..!!!!!
