Call from a lady trying to get £249 out of me for an anti bullying campaign I had allegedly signed up to last year. She was very convincing and said I'd receive a thank you pack and what school would I like the bullying pack to be sent to. I told her I had no recollection of ever agreeing to sponsor such a thing. She gave me a web address of www.thepreventioncentre.org which shows they are legit...no such website exists, just websites that suggest this is a scam. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS!

People pretending to be Talktalk to scam you to download teamviewer and then claim to clear crap out of your router to then offer you a refund of £200. They then ask you to go onto your own personal account to login to get refund. All looks nice and pucker but then they try really forcefully to get you to login. I just argued for ever and they hung up.
The caller said they were from BT Openreach, and had information from my router that indicated my internet wasn't performing as well as it should be. I was asked a couple of questions about what devices I had connected to the router, and was then asked if I was in front of my personal device. When they then asked me to log onto my personal device, I decided that this may not be legitimate and hung up. The background noise was very loud, as if from a call centre.
Found this missed call on my mobile, rang it back, but number invalid, now blocked it

I received a t/c from (004)91113279026 today 27/4/22, at 13.56hrs to my L/L. I answered without saying anything, and the caller who said nothing, hung up. I live in the Hove area of Sussex. Given that the Phone Number Localisation 091113279026 is New Delhi, India, it is probably a scammer.

Asked me if i used tv shopping channels.Then asked if I had bought anything in the last 6 months from qvc.Or he may have said bid tv,but thought it was qvc although research leads me to believe the same people regularly say its from bidtv. This number has come up 39 times and each time the person hangs up. Does he/she realise that by calling from the USA to UK is going to cost them as our line is low call for UK mainland and premium for International private callers. Who ever is running this has got to have a 1st Class Honours Degree, with a PHD and a Masters in Utter Stupidity.
