Woman called from this number, said "crazy shit", then hung up.

It’s a scam! Claiming to be HMRC. Avoid, just hang up.

Rang numerous times to here, when answered there is a long silence, when a voice does enter the equation they were very rude to me and shouted down the phone why I wasnt listening.

Missed call, no answer machine message -- according to this thread it could be a harassment, so .. welcome to my blocked list.

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a very large charge on your bill.
