SPAM had a Indian accent women, obviously in a call center with the background noise, plus the delay in the call actually connecting .she is claiming to be from Car Phone Warehouse, offering me a better deal . £30 per month on everything unlimited . Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest. Tried calling the number back and It says service closed with a dial tone. Sounds like a scam to me. Please be aware.

SCAM Call starts with an automated message telling you that there is an arrest warrant out for you for underpaid tax and tax fraud. Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!
