We've had numerous scam calls in one day (from this number and others all in a short period) claiming to be from various utilities or directory listing companies trying to get details from our company about providers and meters, etc. One man used profanities at me and another shouted and both hung up when I confronted them.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. It's a company called G11. Phoned asking to speak with 'Accounts Payable' relating to an invoice. Asked for invoice number, caller hung up. G11 are an international payments company trying to deceive their way into the company through false claims.
They rang today and left a voicemail following a recent application, however be aware that my application was passed to these through nouvoue a broker that I didn t sign up with. Genuine enough for a loan company.
