Called me. I answered then the caller hung up. Called number back to see who called and the number came back as not recognised.

They have rung me many times via an auto dailler asking for somebody I ve never heard of - getting very brassed off with it.

Called regarding an accident in a VW Polo asked to speak to Mr XYZ... I said - politely - it is Miss XYZ and it is my car... was told that that was fine it may be my car but she needed to speak to Mr XYZ... Would not have it that there is NO Mr XYZ...

Local number, said I was involved in a road traffic accident in past 2 years. I said I don't drive and he said they'll remove my number & he hung up.

Called as I had gone over my limit on my card. They did hang up the first time they tried calling me which was annoying to which the adviser informed me that they are having issues with the auto dialler system. I believe Aqua credit also use a similar number.

Likewise, it was Facebook calling back after i sent a msg to their help centre after receiving a dodgy email about boosting an advert.

Randomly messaged me saying "Hi number neighbour". Very strange and they only could have got my number through my mobile network provider. Marked as spam and deleted right away.

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). Called 12:20 20-dec-2018. Apparently looking to review my life insurance on behalf of Legal & General. When I pointed out that I hadn t had life insurance with them for over 20 years she said it must be my wife then! I hung up on her at that point.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE

DO NOT answer the call. They don t need to have a conversation with you, just toknow the line is active. They find this out by you answering. They then sell your details and number on to other advertisers and brokers.
