Told me he was from Openreach and needed to dicuss my broadband. When I asked what the problem was as I thought it was a fishing call, he told me to f**k off and hung up. Tried to call the number back but got an automatic message saying the number was not recognised.

SCAM / SPAM Prerecorded message claiming "a criminal case has been registered against your name". Did not listen to the remainder of the message and hung up as this is clearly a scam.
Usual unprofessional lot trying to befriend you! wish they would get a proper job such Nursing, Carers etc!! They also call you from 01332 647042 & 01267 226763! I am sure they will just generate loads of other numbers too! Scumbags if you ask me!

Scam text purporting to be from British Gas saying they have made an appointment for me. I did not respond but then had several texts on the day they said the appt had been made saying they were on their way but might be late! No-one turned up I'm pleased to say. I didn't click any links so don't know what the scam is about - probably an information phishing expeditiion - but it is very clever and needs to be exposed.
Recorded message to tell you iPhone has been bought on your Amazon account for $1499. If you connect to an advisor they tell you similar but currency then changes to £! Absolute...

Picked up, the line was silent and then started ringing as though I had called the number (I get the feeling this is a reverse charges scam) Someone picked up on the other end after 1 ring said my name then hung up. Number is being blocked - be careful!
