Received call from someone calling himself Harold Shipman asking for me by name. I asked who he was, he stated "I m a criminal". I ended the phone call and rang 1471 to ascertain number.

This is an automated call advising your Amazon Prime account is shortly to expire & to recall/press number to renew. This is a scam. I do not have any Amazon Prime account.

They said they were Consumer Benefits - didn't let them progress the call - asked them to take my number off and put phone down.

Guy called Sam from Electronic Safety Team doing a survey about my TV and Washing Machine. Told him I don t do surveys and he hung up.

Call received 14/8/19 claiming I d won some sort of promotion. Terminated call.

Fraud suspected,claims to be Virgin Media, did not try to verify any personal details or account details. Wants the IP address that they are supplying to me, at which point I ended call. This number has called me twice this afternoon, it was a missed call as they called me whilst I was at work. They didn’t leave me any voicemail message so I’m just assuming it was some kind of sales call, which I wouldn’t have answered anyway. I’ve looked it up and the number is from the centre of London. I’ve absolutely no idea who it’s from, but as there’s no message it can’t be important.

Called concerning my gas boiler - told them I was registered for Telephone Privacy - they responded with I had completed a survey - when I asked them not to tell me lies and remove my number - response - "jog-on" - everyone is entitled to earn a living - but where are we as a society when we permit this kind of cr...p to interrupt our lives - these companies should receive fines for every unwanted call made.
