Same, chatted me up on fb,searched his number and saw these comments.

Was told the caller was a surveyor and that he was checking about our loft insulation. He seemed to have had access to the time we had it done and also our address. He asked when it was done and was it part of the Government scheme as there was a problem with fibreglass. The line then went dead, but the call was still active as I could see the raised phone sign on my handset Very strange and also very worrying! Didn t give any further info info and hung up as soon as I realised.

Caller hangs up when you answer.

Usual ask by name, newver confirm just ask who they were, Scottish sounding chap confirmed the Green Advisory Service. Laughed in his face, told him I was signed upto the TPS, and I work designing roofing and I knew that it was a con, and never to call me again. Then blocked the number. Must get round to reporting these con artists, for all the good it does!

Woman called to say "We have been informed you were in a road traffic accident which wasn t your fault, can you tell me when this happened?". I said "Who told you this?" She repeated the above? I repeated my question. She said "The RPA" or "The RTA". I asked if this was an official government agency and she said "Yes". I asked which part of government and she said "Yes". I repeated my question and she hung up. All lies. I was not in an accident and so no official body could have reported it to them. I m sur

This call was made from near Trafalgar Square London.Said my washing machine insurance for Beko washing machine had run out.And wanted me to renew it. Don t have a Beko washing machine.

Just another SPAM call. Hangs up when it gets an answer machine. Really would like to identify these folk - and do something really painful to them.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. I have been spammed with calls from this company. I had 4 calls in the space of 2 hours while I was in a meeting at work. I finally picked up and told them I m not remotely interested in reviewing my pensions as they are handled through my company and to remove me from their database. They persisted in being very pushy and I hung up. 30 minutes later I received another call from the number and I blocked it.
