Typical car crash claim telesales person starting with the usual question: “I have been told that you were involved in a car crash. Is that right?” They are trying to make you speak about such accidents if any by asking such questions. So, hang up the phone and not waste your time.

Caller left no message and was a very short ring. I was curious, as I know a couple of people in Leeds, so I called the number. No such number exists, so I have now blocked

They called twice in the past week, so I called back curious to see what company it was. All they said was it was consumer care line. The first woman hung up on me when I asked what the company was. The second was a guy who after me asking a few times went into the speech about PPI and other loans and stuff and then when I said I ve never had any of that he ended the call. He knew my first name though which was a bit confusing.

Company called media match, has been phoning repeatedly for weeks, rang them back to a voice recording saying you were called today by media match, the call was not important and we will try again later number blocked

Had a missed call. Called back and was told it was EE and that no further action was required! Strange ... maybe they were testing the number to make sure it was still in use for further nuisance calls!

I get at least one call a day from this number. I did answer on the first occasion and the line went dead. Since then I haven t picked up. This is becoming very disruptive and annoying.

The people on the other end of this phone have confirmed by letter they are delivering me a phone on 23rd August 2012 and that my current phone will be switched off on 26th. I am now receiving phone calls telling me I am entitled to a free upgrade and cheaper phone rate. PPI claim company, said they got our details from a lifestyle survey but we never participate in these to avoid unwanted calls. Clearly lying, and from the number of people complaining I hope we ll see TPS/ICO take action and fine them.
