I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. In the first place neither my husband or myself have had a loan from our bank or on any credit card. The caller went on to name all the credit cards that I could own and from any bank (naming banks) that I may have had a card or loan from. Rang 1471 to identify number after call cut off once answered. Then rang number prefixed by 141 and somebody in India answered and, when questioned, indicated that they were marketers. Clearly the number is a ghost number for call display purposes wrongly showing to be an internal UK call
