WHY can these people call when i am reg with the TPA? They said they are from the Daily telegraph - are they??

Missed call. This number phoned the mobile a few minutes ago. It wasn't answered as the number is unknown. If anyone knows anything about this number please comment below so I can figure out who phoned. Thanks

Two calls today. Rings about four times then disconnects. No idea who it is.

This number has called a number of times in the last two weeks. When answered, it is an automated voice purporting to be BT, which states that our internet will be disconnected today and offering two return call options which I am fairly sure are cost traps. We don t have BT internet. On hanging up, I called the number back and it rang but was not answered.

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!

BEWARE...I rang this number thinking it was my local Nat West branch. I just wanted to transfer some money but this was their call centre and I was charged the princely sum of £4.43 on my phone bill for the privilege. Part of this goes to Bt and the rest to Nat West. Never again.

Repeat calls from this company who say they can help with our electricity contract renewal, despite being told it has just been renewed ... I am simply letting the phone ring out now as I am so fed up with them.

When receiving calls from these shady characters, my family and friends try to waste as much of their time as possible. I don t have any policies, this is a pest call. I had a call two days ago from a woman claiming to be from the MORI poll, tried to get me to sign up to EDF and give out information on what insurance policies I have. Suspect they are linked. Another one for the blocked number list!

i received a call from this number stating my ip address had been compromised could I please confirm my ip address. when I asked who called they hung up.

Young guy called my mums home number (she s in her 70 s) and said that she had over paid money in to her bank and they needed to refund it and started asking for date of birth so she hung up. Be very careful with company! Avoid speaking to them!!!!

I know no one in Bishops Stortford and this call came on my mobile??
