Odd call - I answered Nz it immediately went dead.
Tried to pretend he was from Telephone Preference Service. But when I asked for clarification of the difference between TPS and the company he represented rang off immediately. Will this deter him? I very much doubt it. This was the second call of this type today.

Yet another nuisance call from this call centre to a TPS registered private number. The call centre should be closed and prosecuted! Now blocked and added to the other seven similar numbers used from here.
SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Alex re loft insulation and potential problems. Then went on about spray foam insulation. When I asked a question I was ignored. There is no real person just a recorded message. I'm registered with TPS so should not be getting these calls plus automated calls are banned under GDPR unless the householder has specifically agreed.
Ended call swiftly as stated it was bt. Doubt that so be careful.
