Called today 27/10/20 at 8.19am . Non English accent said were from BT. Had this type of call before said that my internet had been compromised and they were going to switch it off. Considering I am not with BT it is a joke. Halted them in mid conversation said no thank you not interested and hung up. My time is too precious to be wasting talking to scammers.

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. SCAM - well I hope it's a scam, it seemed to be a recorded message, claiming to be from HMRC and there was a warrant against my name (which was not given) and that I should press 1 immediately, otherwise I would be arrested shortly. Needles to say I did not press 1 and 3 hours later I am still a free man.... I believe it was a scam call that if I pressed 1 a virus would download to my phone. If my situation changes I will send an update. BEWARE.
